When laundering fleece items, it is important to follow these instructions to prevent pilling: - Wash items inside-out on the gentle cycle using the cold wash and rinse. - Do not wash with prone-pilling clothing. - Fleece is very sensitive to heat and will pill if exposed to a hot water wash or hot dryer. - Never use fabric softeners or bleach on fleece items as both chemicals will reduce the water-resistance of the fabric.
